Read-only No QuickBooks OAuth Export integrity only

Just migrated QuickBooks Desktop to Online? Verify your report exports before you trust them.

Migrations and month-end handoffs both produce export files that can fail silently — empty ledgers, truncated rows, mismatched periods. Upload your Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, General Ledger, and optionally Profit & Loss exports for 30 automated integrity checks, clear pass/fail evidence, and an export-integrity certificate — without connecting to QuickBooks.

Upload-onlyNo OAuth. Files are parsed and discarded after the run.

Why it matters

Exports fail silently — you find out too late

QuickBooks Online and Desktop can produce empty GLs, truncated files, and period mismatches while other reports look fine. VerifyBooks catches that before handoff, filing, or review.

Silent export failures

Empty ledgers, cell-limit truncations, and missing columns don't always show up until tax season or audit prep.

You need proof, not guesses

Structured pass/fail checks with differences and file fingerprints — not "the export looks okay."

Transparent evidence

Every finding traces to source rows. Share the certificate or full report with your bookkeeper or CPA.

How it works

Four steps — we never log in to QuickBooks

Step 1 Export from QuickBooks

Download TB, BS, GL, and optionally P&L from QuickBooks Online or Desktop for the same period and accounting basis.

Step 2 Upload

CSV or XLSX — upload each report to the matching field below. You see row counts and detected period right away.

Step 3 Analyze

30 automated checks run with pass/fail status and supporting detail you can expand.

Step 4 Certify

Free watermarked preview or purchase the unwatermarked Export Integrity Certificate.

What we check

Run export integrity check

Choose your QuickBooks product, then upload CSV or XLSX report files for the same reporting period. Profit & Loss is optional.

Which QuickBooks product are these files from?
QuickBooks Online — what to export
  • Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and General Ledger for the same date range
  • Profit & Loss for the same period (optional but recommended)
  • CSV or XLSX — accrual or cash basis, but use the same basis on every report
QuickBooks Desktop — what to export
  • Trial Balance, Balance Sheet (Standard), General Ledger, and Profit & Loss (Standard)
  • Use the same as-of date on TB, BS, and GL; P&L can cover a range ending on that date
  • Export each report as CSV — we do not parse QuickBooks backup (.QBB) files

FAQ

Common questions

Does this connect to QuickBooks?

No. Upload only — we never request OAuth or see live QBO data.

Does it fix my books?

No. VerifyBooks checks export file integrity and surfaces findings. It does not post journal entries or remediation steps.

Is this accounting advice?

No. Automated file analysis only. Confirm all findings with a qualified professional.

What file formats are supported?

CSV and XLSX report files exported from QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop (Mac and Windows). We do not accept QuickBooks company backup files (.QBB).

What happens to my uploads?

We analyze your files and delete them after the run. We keep your check results and file fingerprints — not the original exports. Account names and file names may appear in your saved report. See Trust & data handling.
